Mitsubishi Power has been ordered a gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) power generation system equipment for the 13th unit of the Lamma gas-fired power station in Hong Kong. The project is developed by HK Electric.
The new turbine is planned to have a generation capacity of 350MW, with the entire system to be delivered by Mitsubishi Power featuring 380MW in total.
The unit, which will be built adjacent to existing units 9, 10, 11 and 12, is expected to come online in early 2029. The Lamma power plant is located on Lamma Island, southwest of Hong Kong.
