Equinor has received government permit for three new projects in the North Sea. The plans for development and operation (PDO) were approved by Norway and are related to the Irpa and Verdande fields and the Andvare production well.
According to the operator's plans, the Irpa gas field will be tied-back to the Aasta Hansteen platform, while Verdande and Andvare will be tied-back to the Norne production unit.
The calculated total investment for these initiatives combined is about US$1.9bn.
