Mallard Pass, a 350MW solar plant under development by Canadian Solar and Windel Energy in Lincolnshire and Rutland, England, has now entered pre-examination phase. The project’s development consent order (DCO) has recently been approved by the Planning Inspectorate (PINS).
The DCO received official approval on 21 December 2022, allowing developers to start receiving the local community for public consultation on the document.
The solar farm will cover an area of over 880 hectares and will be linked to the national grid through the already existing Ryhall substation.
