Vesper Energy has firmed an agreement with module supplier Boviet Solar that will secure 861MW in solar modules for the developer’s photovoltaic (PV) projects in Texas and Ohio, United States.
The equipment to be delivered will be Boviet Solar’s Vega Series and Mono-Bifacial PERC double glass PV modules.
One of the solar plants in development by Vesper Energy in Texas is Hornet, to be built in Swisher County. With an estimated capacity of 500MW and a 15-year virtual power purchase agreement (PPA) with Pfizer in place since October 2021, the facility will be linked to the Texas transmission grid.
Boviet Solar’s PV panels are included in the PVEL Top Performer PV Module rank since 2019. For the last four years, Boviet Solar has also been granted Tier 1 status by BloombergNEF.
