Financing has been closed for Doral Renewables LLC’s Mammoth North project, a 400MW ground-mounted single axis photovoltaic (PV) plant. The facility is the first phase of Mammoth Solar, a PV complex to be built in Indiana, United States.
In collaboration with the Deutsche Bank, Doral raised a US$392m financing for Mammoth North. Doral’ CFO Evan Speece has stated that the amount will enable Mommath North to enter operations in 2023.
After completion, the plant will be capable of meeting the power demands of nearly 75,000 homes.
Mammoth Solar is also composed by Mammoth Central and Mammoth South. Combined capacity is calculated at 1.3GW.
