BP and EnBW have selected RPS Group to carry out the environmental impact assessment (ESIA) and habitats regulation assessment (HRA) of the consortium’s proposed Morven project, a 2.9GW offshore wind farm to be built in Scotland.
Activities will be executed by RPS’ crew in Aberdeen and Edinburgh. Wood has also been invited to collaborate in Morven’s onshore processes. Scottish companies Anatec and BiGGAR Economic will be involved as well in providing equipment and services to the plant.
BP and EnBW acquired the Morvin project at this year’s ScotWind auction. The developers may explore an area of 860km² in approximately 37 miles off the coast of Aberdeen.
