The Fécamp offshore wind farm in France has successfully entered operations. The 500MW power plant was developed by EDF, CPP Investments, EIH and Skyborn Renewables.
Fécamp is located between 13 and 24km off the coast of Normandy. The project required a total investment of approximately  €2bn for its completion.
The facility features 71 turbines by Siemens Gamesa, each with a generation capacity of 7MW. Fécamp is designed to supply clean energy to nearly 770,000 people.
