Air Liquide and Vopak have formed a partnership for the installation of an ammonia import, cracking and hydrogen distribution infrastructure in Singapore. The parties have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the joint effort.
The MoU explores that Air Liquide and Vopak can explore the development of ammonia cracking facilities and associated ammonia storage and handling assets, which would be located at Vopak's Banyan terminal in Jurong Island.
The document also states the viability of a hydrogen pipeline network.
