Hydro One has submitted the final environmental study report for its proposed St. Clair transmission project in Canada. Along with the report, the company also submitted a statement of completion to Ontario's Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks.
The final report considers insights from Indigenous communities, government officials, interest groups, residents and property owners affected by the initiative.
According to Hydro One's plans, St. Clair transmission line will be a double-circuit 230kV line linking the Lambton transformer station in St. Clair and the Chatham switching station in Chatham-Kent.
Operations are expected in 2028.
