Höegh LNG, a Norwegian company that operates liquefied natural gas (LNG) and floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs), has been granted an extension and expansion of its contract with the Sociedad Portuaria el Cayao (SPEC) LNG terminal in Cartagena, Colombia.
According to Höegh LNG, the new agreement with SPEC will enable the terminal to continue (as well as increase) energy supply through at least 2031.
Using the Höegh Grace FSRU, Höegh LNG has been working at the SPEC LNG terminal for seven years now.
