Black & Veatch has been selected to execute front-end engineering design (FEED) work alongside Samsung Heavy Industries for the Ksi Lisims liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Canada after ten years of prior development.
It is also understood that Black & Veatch will supply its proprietary PRICO© liquefaction technology.
Ksi Lisims is jointly developed by the Nisga'a Nation, Rockies LNG, and Western LNG. The floating LNG design, to reach operations in 2028 according to schedule, will be able to produce 12 million metric tonnes of LNG annually for export markets.
