Multiple companies have been awarded engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts for the development of the Amiral petrochemical complex in Saudi Arabia. The US$11bn project is carried out by Aramco and TotalEnergies.
Contracts have been secured by Hyundai Engineering & Construction, Maire Tecnimont, Sinopec Engineering Group Saudi, Gulf Consolidated Contractors, Mohammed Ali Al-Suwailem Trading & Contracting, Mofarreh Marzouq Al Harbi & Partners, and Mobarak M. Al Salomi & Partners for Contracting.
The granting of the EPC contracts is considered by TotalEnergies the starting point of the project's construction phase.
