ScottishPower Renewables has selected RES for an operation and maintenance (O&M) contract related to a 17MW wind farm in Northern Ireland. According to the contract, RES will be providing services to 12 Siemens turbines at the facility.
The contracted works will be conducted by RES’ teams in Letterkenny, where the company has a warehouse and workshop facilities. 
RES has been working in Ireland since the 1990s, with activities spanning across nearly 30 wind power projects, summing over 500MW of capacity.
The wind farm, dubbed Callagheen, finished construction and started operations in 2006.
