ExxonMobil has awarded a large contract to TechnipFMC related to the operator’s Uaru project offshore Guyana. TechnipFMC will be responsible for the project management, engineering, and manufacturing of Uaru’s subsea production system.
The contract includes 44 subsea trees, 12 manifolds and associated equipment. This the first project by ExxonMobil in Guyana to feature TechnipFMC’s Subsea 2.0 system.
The agreement’s exact value has not been disclosed but is expected to range between US$500m-US$1bn.
