Ethical Power has commissioned the 5MW Whites Pit solar farm. Located in Wimborne, UK, the plant will be responsible for providing energy to Canford Renewable Energy’s Dorset Green H2 project.
Ethical Power, Whites Pit’s EPC contractor, built the facility on a former landfill owned by Canfor Renewable Energy.
Designed to operate for 30 years, Whites Pit features over 12,400 panels. The solar park will enable Dorset Green H2 to produce up to 120,000kg of green hydrogen per year.
Dorset is Canford Renewable’s first green hydrogen project.
