RWE has announced the commissioning of its 44MW solar plant in Guadalajara, Spain. Named Casa Valdes, the facility will generate enough energy to power 30,000 homes per year in the country.
Although the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor of the project remains unnamed, it has been disclosed that construction began in the second half of 2021.
Casa Valdes had 97,740 bifacial high-performance panels installed, covering an area of approximately 97 hectares.
