Title : Navigating the Future: A webinar exploring supply chain capability within renewable and transition sectors in Malaysia
The energy transition sector in Malaysia is undergoing a remarkable transformation, with projections indicating that low-carbon sources will account for more than 90% of energy, and fossil fuels will account for less than 10% by 2050.
Malaysian Government has recently launched the National Energy Transition Roadmap, showcasing Energy transition initiatives are estimated to require up to RM 1.85 trillion in financing by 2050 and opportunities worth up to RM 1 trillion are up for grabs beyond the transition. Malaysian organisations are at early stages of energy transition journey. Some are ahead than their peers, but still far from global standards. In order to maintain global competitiveness, organisations must prioritise enhancing their understanding of supply chain capabilities. Identifying and addressing limitations in these capabilities will be crucial for growth of the sector and overcoming the key challenges.
