About this event
The Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) 2023
event, 25–27 April 2023 at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas, is set
to explore the latest CCUS work and address related challenges and
opportunities.
A growing desire for lower emissions and a sustainable
energy future has unleashed record levels of private sector investment and
government funding creating an unprecedented concentration of carbon capture,
utilization, and storage (CCUS) projects. Leveraging the technical geologic
knowledge and data that has been cultivated over the past two decades, combined
with more recent policy instruments have presented opportunities to offset the
costs of CCUS development making it more attainable.
As hosts of CCUS 2023, the Society of Petroleum Engineers
(SPE), the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), and the Society
of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), have joined forces engaging technical
experts from all aspects of the carbon capture lifecycle to innovate,
integrate, and advance understanding to create value.
Much like our industry, the CCUS event has sparked
exponential growth doubling in size year over year since its inception in 2021.
CCUS 2023 continues to build upon this success and looks to follow this path.
This meeting continues to be the leading event for CCUS
management and development and is the best chance you’ll have to gain insights
into the technical and business aspects surrounding CCUS. Register Now and
secure your spot.
