About this event

With more than 750 projects across the region, North and Central America are a hotspot for activity in the renewables sector. Major solar, wind and hydro projects with a combined capital expenditure of US$330 billion offer a variety of business opportunities for the supply chain and contribute to advance bold renewable energy targets set by countries across the region.

The United States alone account for 554 renewable projects and a US$243 billion investment pipeline. While Texas and California spearhead the addition of solar PV capacity, states across the eastern seaboard play host to a growing number of multi-billion-dollar offshore wind developments.

Canada and Mexico also offer a variety of renewable energy opportunities. Major hydro facilities and wind farms being developed from Newfoundland to British Columbia make up the bulk of renewables investment in Canada, where RE projects currently amount to approximately US$60 billion of CAPEX across 69 projects. In Mexico, where solar PV has seen exponential growth in recent years, renewable investment totals US$22 billion across 86 active and future projects.

The upcoming webinar will provide an overview of project activity in these countries and beyond, exploring key developers and contractors as well as recent project updates.
