Larsen & Toubro Limited is a technology, engineering, construction and manufacturing company and one of the largest and most respected companies in India's private sector. They are a fully integrated EPC provider for the complete hydrocarbon chain in the upstream as well as mid/downstream sectors.

A recent focus on internationalisation has led to requirements for a global supply chain qualified to numerous international codes and standards; they are currently executing several EPC projects in the Middle East and typically buy over $600 Million / year of subcontracted items.

Phil Emsley, Head of Business Development – Europe at Larsen & Toubro, will detail the company's current global activities, procurement processes and current procurement requirements,

Delegates will also have the opportunity to hear from the UK India Business Council (UKIBC) about what opportunities lie in India, any challenges of doing business in India and what support (financially or logistically) is available to UK companies investing in the country. UKIBC plays an important role in creating and sustaining an environment in which free trade can flourish between India and the UK, by providing the resources and knowledge vital to UK companies. UKBC also works closely with UKTI helping companies wanting to operate within India.
