SchlumbergerSchlumberger has been in Brazil for 55 years providing services to Petrobras and other customers. SLB provides a large variety of oilfield services and products through its regional facilities and subsidiaries (M-I Swaco, Geoservices, Smith etc), including seismic, drilling, completion, subsea production and well intervention services. The company has recently formed joint-venture with Cameron to manufacture and develop products, systems and services for the subsea oil and gas market. In order to support deepwater operations and pre-salt development activities, SLB constructed one of their largest bases in Brazil and a R&D center.
Jurong Shipyard Aracruz Jurong, one of the world's leading shipyards, is heavily involved with projects being developed by Petrobras and the Brazilian oil & gas industry as a whole. Jurong Aracruz, the company's new shipyard being built in Espirito Santo, has an orderbook exceeding $6 billion that includes the construction of seven drilling rigs for Sete Brasil and the integration of two FPSOs (P-68 and P-71) that will be deployed in the pre-salt area.
