An electric motor works by converting electrical energy into mechanical force, the force is created by placing a current-carrying conductor into a magnetic field.

Covers the design, manufacture, specification and safe operation of high voltage induction (electric) motors. A workshop tour
will provide you with a practical appreciation of all major motor components and the manufacturing process.
