This one-day course provides an overview of the key components of subsea engineering including flow assurance, reliability and maintenance.
Who should attend
The course is suitable for those new to the oil and gas industry as well as those who have not received any formal training. Those from operating companies or supplier and service organisations may also find this course beneficial.
It will provide attendees, including suppliers with the full picture of the subsea elements, how they work and role they play together. It will assist those working in management, sales and finance to understand.

Brief Background of the Presenter - John E. Preedy, PhD
Dr John Preedy worked for BP for 28 years as a Research Associate and Team Leader, working on feasibility studies and acting as a “trouble shooter” covering all aspects of BP’s businesses.
He is a member of the UK Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) and served on their Subsea Engineering and Operations Committee for many years. John
is the Course Director and Principal Lecturer for training courses provided by Azur Offshore to professional engineers.
