A Centrifugal pumps works by converting kinetic energy from a rotating impeller into pressure, which is then used to move fluid through a piping system. Centrifugal pumps are used in numerous applications across the oil and gas and power generation industries.
About this course
Looks at different pump types, components and applications as well as the selection of hydraulics and mechanical design. A workshop tour will provide further practical insight into the manufacture, assembly and testing of a centrifugal pumps.
