The EIC launches Middle East version of OPEX database, EICAssetMap, at ADIPEC 2018
15 November, 2018
The host of the UK pavilion at ADIPEC 2018, the Energy Industries Council (EIC), has unveiled the latest version of its bespoke O&M database, EICAssetMap, at the event.
EICAssetMap now displays over 700 producing assets across Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the UAE, with its reach being extended to Saudi Arabia in early 2019. The database also maps assets in the UK, Norway, Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore.
Including onshore and offshore developments across the oil and gas, power, nuclear and renewables industries, it is the only O&M database of its type to cover all energy sectors. EICAssetMap currently hold details of over 4,000 worldwide energy facilities.
Users can search for facilities by location, sector and operator. As well as giving an overview of the asset, it also provides contact information for the site operator and many of its contractors.
Designed with a company’s sales and service teams in mind, EICAssetMap is tablet friendly, meaning it can be used on the move, with no limit on the number of users at each company.
Updated daily by the EIC’s expert analysts, the database charts the full lifecycle of plants from start-up through to decommissioning.
Speaking at ADIPEC 2018, EIC CEO Stuart Broadley said, ‘The newly upgraded EICAssetMap now enables users to win work in the highly lucrative GCC OPEX market.
‘Used in conjunction with our CAPEX project database, EICDataStream, our members can now track developments in the Middle East from feasibility studies to start-up right through to decommissioning – the complete project lifecycle.’
