Senvion lands Spain and Holland turbine orders

Germany-based wind turbine specialist Senvion has landed installation and service contracts for wind farms across Spain and Holland.
The company has signed an agreement for the delivery of turbines for up to 300MW of projects across Spain with developer Alfanar.
Installation and commissioning is planned for 2019. The contract with Alfanar also includes a 20-year maintenance service agreement.
In the Netherlands it has signed a four-year renewal contract to service Vattenfall’s 122MW Princess Alexia wind farm located at Zeewolde.
The Princess Alexia wind farm, formerly known as the Zuidlob wind farm, is one of the biggest onshore wind farms in the Netherlands, capable of generating electricity for up to 88,000 households a year.
