Nordex secures two Dutch wind farm orders
10 January, 2019
Germany’s Nordex has been awarded turbine orders for two wind farms in Holland with a combined capacity of 49MW.
Both orders come from developer Vattenfall, for the 22MW Haringvliet project and the 27MW Moerdijk project.
Nordex will deliver the turbines to the Haringvliet wind farm, located in south Holland, in December 2019, with the project set to come online in Spring 2020.
Delivery to the Moerdijk win farm, in North Brabant, will take place in early 2020 with operations to commence in the summer.
Once connected to the grid, the Haringvliet project will produce enough electricity to power 22,000 homes, while the Moerdijk wind farm will provide approximately 27,000 households with clean electricity.
