GE to provide 81 units for Polish wind farm

US manufacturer GE Renewable Energy is to provide turbines for the 220MW Potegowo wind farm in northern Poland.
GE will supply 81 2MW units for the project, located in Slupsk County.
The wind farm will comprise four clusters, including the five-turbine Biecino, where hardware is currently being installed. Forty-three turbines will feature at Malechowo, 20 at Gluszynko and 13 at Karzcino.
Hardware will be manufactured at GE’s plant in Salzbergen, Germany.
The deal, which includes a five-year service agreement, is the first between GE and developer Potegowo Mashav.
