08 March, 2019
GE Power has won a contract to supply its HA gas turbine technology for the 485MW Long Ridge Energy Generation Project in Ohio, US.
Operator Fortress Transportation, who last month made a final investment decision on the project, gave the contract to GE for an undisclosed sum.
Under the contract, GE will provide its heavy-duty 7HA.02 gas turbine along with a steam turbine, generator and a heat recovery generator.
The company also signed a multi-year services agreement for the new plant, which is expected to come online in late 2021.
