13 September, 2017
UK firm Centrica and US major ConocoPhillips have submitted plans for the decommissioning of a portfolio of southern North Sea platforms to the UK government.
Centrica plans to decommission its so-called A fields, which include the Ann, Audrey, Alison and Annabel fields.
The decommissioning plan for Audrey includes two platforms, A and B, and a well protection structure.
ConocoPhillips wants to remove the Vulcan UR, Viscount VO and Vampire OD topsides and their jackets for recycling.
All three fields are tied back to the Lincolnshire Offshore Gas Gathering System complex off the coast of Lincolnshire.
