The UK National Pavilion at ONS 2018
The Overseas Events Team are proud to be organising and managing the UK National Pavilion at Offshore Northern Seas (ONS) taking place from 27th – 30th August 2018.
ONS gathers the international energy industry to network and do business. In 2016, 1 245 companies exhibited, and an impressive 65 718 people visited ONS, despite the challenging times in the industry. 92 % of them say they will be back for ONS 2018!
ONS attracts high-level executives and politicians as well as specialists and young professionals from all over the world. Why? Because the ONS exhibition gives direct access to the most interesting companies in the energy industry.
Norway currently has some very significant offshore oil and gas developments underway, which are due to come into production during 2017 and 2018.
Major CAPEX projects due on stream in 2018 include the Aasta Hansteen Gas Field and Marin Linge Heavy Oil Field. Overall, CAPEX on developments due on stream between now and 2024 will be well in excess of $60 billion and will see multibillion $ investments on projects including the second phase of Johan Sverdrup, the Snorre 2040 project and the Johan Castberg Field.
These projects, as well as the major discoveries recently made in the Barents Sea, make for an attractive market for the UK supply chain now and well into the future.
