Join us for our next EIC Houston Coffee break with the EIC’s Regional Director, Amanda Duhon and special guest Amy Spall, Energy and Environment Policy Advisor, Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. The UK will host the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Scotland in November 2021, to agree coordinated action to tackle climate change. Already, the UK is a leader in this space with significant ambitions to reach Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Speakers will discuss the current stage of energy transition and net-zero ambitions, the UK government’s domestic and international stakeholder engagement efforts, case studies of adopting the energy transition economy, as well as barriers and opportunities for Energy companies.
