03 Oct 2019, London
Open to: Register Interest
Following the success of the first LNG Showcase in Scotland last year, we launch our annual showcase, this time in London. The second LNG Showcase will provide an opportunity to engage in discussions about the outlook of the LNG market, its future regarding the growth of LNG demand and potential opportunities for the UK supply chain.
Traditionally, we have seen LNG facilities built onshore. However, due to the flexibility, speed of construction, lower environmental footprint where long seabed pipelines are not required, and its ability to open a wider range of remote fields; there has been the continuous development of offshore LNG units as an alternative.
Currently, estimated CAPEX of upcoming floating LNG projects stands at $26 billion, where 47% of the projects are in the design/pre-feed/feed stages.
The future of the LNG market looks promising, where CAPEX within the next six years for liquefaction projects currently under construction is about $200 billion, and a further estimated $300 billion could be seen for projects under development.
The UK supply chain have the skills and expertise to secure work on the developments. With lucrative projects coming on the horizon, there will be significant opportunities within the industry.
LNG Showcase will also provide you with the prime opportunity to develop new contacts and relationships from across the LNG business.
Agenda to be announced soon.
