Breakfast Briefing: EIC Survive and Thrive Insight Report Volume II
04 Oct 2018, EIC Teesside
Open to: All companies
About the report
The first ever EIC Survive and Thrive Insight Report was released in 2017. It was received to great acclaim from an industry keen to learn about the proven business development strategies the report contained, and the government, which used the recommendations from suppliers across all sectors to feed into its ongoing industrial strategy work.
Volume II again provides key government recommendations from an industry point of view and identifies the strategies being put in place by 26 EIC member companies, of all sizes and covering all energy sectors, to grow and prosper, as well as describing how they are dealing with the fallout from Brexit and their approach to exports in a post-EU UK.
The inspirational stories focus on eight key areas which the EIC has identified as being vital to ensure growth during these tough times:
• Service and solutions
The report will be submitted to the Department for International Trade and the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy to feed into the government’s industrial energy strategy.
About the events
The report will be launched at each of the EIC's UK offices in a series of breakfast briefings. The Hartlepool briefing will take place on Thursday 4 October 2018. EIC CEO Stuart Broadley will present the key findings of the report, discuss best industry practices that have been put into action by the participating companies and the huge savings that could be made if these are adopted across the UK, as well as the recommendations that will be made to the government to support supply chain companies and revitalise the UK energy industries.
