What is 'speedy exchange' and how does it work?
There is likely to be a minimum of 10 buyers carrying out appointments each taking part in 22 each.
The first 150 delegates that book their place can be guaranteed one appointment each (but not necessarily with their first choice).
All delegates will be asked to submit the following information when requesting appointments:
- Who are the top three companies you would like to meet?
- Why do you want to meet each company?
- Are you already a pre-qualified vendor with any of these companies?
- What is your unique selling point?
This allocated appointment is to explain more about what you (as a vendor) offer and to agree a follow up if of interest. It is also an opportunity to ask the speaker company (vendor) about their:
- Procurement process
- How to do business
- Who vendors can contact
- Any new technology they are looking for
- Framework/warranty periods coming up for renewal
Please note that speakers/vendors cannot utilise appointments to meet each other but can request introductions through the EIC to organise as part of their overall itinerary.
While we understand that delegates regard one-to-one meetings with the speaker companies as one of the main reasons for attending, please do not book your delegate place(s) solely for this reason as we cannot guarantee all suppliers will receive one-to-one meetings.
Also, there are times when, for various reasons, a speaker company cannot fulfill their allotted appointments. In this case the EIC will endeavor to re-book you with another company and will pass on your contact details to the original speaker company.
