
The EIC is delighted to be holding the Power Sector Forum at Siemens in Lincoln. The
Forum will be held at Lindum House and be followed by an optional tour of Ruston
Works, where attendees can view the manufacturing process of Siemens’ industrial gas
turbines.
Established in the UK 165 years ago, Siemens now employs 20,387 people in the UK,
including approximately 1,900 people at its Lincoln facilities, which develop,
manufacture and service industrial gas turbines, used extensively in the oil and gas and
industrial process industries.
Last year’s revenues were £3.6 billion, including exports of £873 million, and it spent
almost £70 million on research and development.
