Open to: EIC Members and their guests
The EIC is organising a golf day for the south west region, this will be held at the ever popular Langland Bay Golf Club.
The Langland Bay Golf Club was formed in 1904, and is predominantly meadowland, it is ideally located between the delightful bays of Langland and Caswell, on the Gower peninsula-Britain's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The course creates unique challenges, especially when the prevailing winds are coming straight from the sea, demanding skills of power, placement and fine judgement upon the discerning golfer.
Set against the a backdrop of subtly contoured greens and magnificent panoramic views, a visit to Langland Bay will be a most memorable one.
The 6th hole, is a 449 yard par 4 which ranks with any in its degree of difficulty and requirement for accuracy and length, whereas the 8th, a comparatively short par 4, designed by James Braid, has a spectacular view from the Medal tee of sheer beauty, looking as it does at the bays of Caswell, Pwlldu and Brandy Cove and even Lundy is seen in the distance on a fine day.
On par with a round of golf at Langland is reliving the experience in the beautifully appointed, traditional clubhouse overlooking the 18th Green.
Payment should be made prior to the event, using the form attached.
