Day 1 & 2, Oil & Gas - 25 - 26 February
Company presentations will cover as much of the following detail as possible:
- Company structure and organisation.
- How potential suppliers pre-qualify and register as an approved vendor.
- Who are the key project and procurement decision makers, with contact details.
- Details of important issues pertaining to the various countries they operate in, such as local content requirements, technical approval or registering with the state oil company; the need to employ local agents or have local Joint Ventures.
- It will also provide an opportunity for Operators and Contractors to stress to the supplier community audience the importance of key issues such as on-time delivery, spec compliant quality equipment, support documentation, support during construction, delivery of spares, after sales support and the prequalification methodology they use to select suppliers.
- Current schedules for new build and existing assets together with details of projected spend over the next three to five years.
- Any other issues the speaker feels would benefit the supply chain.
Day 3, Power - 27 February
Company presentations will cover as much of the following detail as possible:
- Company structure and organisation.
- How do potential suppliers pre-qualify and register as an approved vendor.
- Who are the key project and procurement decision makers, with contact details if available.
- As an Operator, how planned outages and ongoing repair and maintenance (R&M) of existing assets handled. Is there a philosophy or requirement to use the local supply chain. Are Framework Agreements / Term Contracts in operation. What is the vendor selection methodology.
- As an OEM supplier / EPC Contractor to their supply chain. Details of important issues pertaining to new build projects in different countries. Issues of local content requirement of projects, technical approval and standards, the need to employ local agents or form Joint Ventures, financing and insurance arrangements.
- It will also provide an opportunity for Operators and OEM / EPC Contractors to stress to the supplier community audience the importance of key issues such as on-time delivery, spec compliant quality equipment, support documentation, support during construction, delivery of spares and after sales service.
- Current work schedules for new build and existing assets together with details of projected spend over the next three to five years.
- Company perspective on increasing emission reduction requirements, technical drivers and possible influences / demands on the supply chain.
- Any other issues the speaker feels would benefit the supply chain.
