As Manager of the Northern Region, Clare Shakespeare-Watts, is responsible for organising a programme of events, including Network Lunches, Golf Days and the Annual Northern Dinner. Working closely with Helen Doona and Claire Miller, Clare provides a tailored service to our Northern based EIC members. She also oversees the administration of four new Technical Forums based in the Northern Region, on the topics of LNG, Nuclear Decommissioning, Transmission and Distribution and CO 2.

Clare’s background is in the Environmental sector, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environment and Development from Durham University, before working at Groundwork and later EnCams, where she was Regional Manager for 5 years. She is a Member of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and a Chartered Environmentalist.

Helen Doona is the Events and Communications Coordinator for the Northern Region and works closely with Clare Shakespeare-Watts organising and delivering the programme of events, including Network Lunches, Golf Days and the Annual Northern Dinner.

Helen has a wide variety of experience in the planning and organising of numerous types of events, previously working within the hospitality industry.  She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Administration and has worked in customer service for a number of years.
