London
The EIC’s headquarters are at the London office, which also houses the Southern
Region team and a flexible conference suite for events with up to 130 participants.
The Southern Region of England is important for the whole UK energy sector; many
operators and major contractors are based here and opportunities for the supply
chain are constantly arising from the wide range of energy projects under development.
Aberdeen
Scotland has an abundance of natural energy resources. The importance of offshore
oil & gas continues with new discoveries, mature fields and decommissioning all
producing important new business. The government’s ambitious target to generate
50% of Scotland's electricity from renewable sources by 2020 will encourage rapid
development in this sector too.
Billingham
The Northern Region covers quite a sizeable area of the British Isles. It extends
from the Scottish Border covering both sides of the Pennines, right down to the
Midlands, stretching as far as Lincoln, Nottingham and Birmingham. It also includes
Northern Wales and the Isle of Man.
Dubai
The Middle East region boasts more than 60% of the world’s proven reserves of oil
as well as more than 35% of known gas deposits. Exciting new developments are happening
in the power sector too, particularly nuclear and renewables. The Dubai office helps
EIC Members to do business across this key region.
Singapore
The countries of the Asia Pacific region are culturally very varied, and an appreciation
of the implications for business is essential to success. The EIC’s office in Singapore
is on hand to help Members understand this large and diverse region, in which opportunities
for the energy supply chain abound.
Houston
Houston is the centre of the global energy industry and the EIC office is located
in the heart of “Energy Alley”, within 20 minutes of 80 percent of all the major
operators and the main engineering offices of the biggest players in the energy
and petrochemical world.
Rio de Janeiro
Brazil has become one of the most active and promising markets for any company involved
in the supply of goods and services to the energy market. Almost all the major international
oil and gas operators are present in Brazil, and the energy sectors of several other
countries in South America are of increasing interest and importance too. These
are all covered by our office in Rio.
