Overview

The Northern Region covers quite a sizeable area of the British Isles. It extends from the Scottish Border covering both sides of the Pennines, right down to the Midlands, stretching as far as Lincoln, Nottingham and Birmingham. It also includes Northern Wales and the Isle of Man.

The North of England and the Midlands enjoy a high concentration of EIC members with industry being widely spread throughout the region. There are a few areas that have a dense concentration of member companies such as Manchester which includes key contractors such as Jacobs Engineering and Costain Oil, Gas & Process and the Teesside area to the North East of the Region including organisations such as AMEC. Throughout the remainder of the region the members are widely spread.

The Northern Region programme consists of:-

  • Corporate Entertainment
  • Northern Region Committee
  • Monthly Newsbrief

 

Facilities for members include:-

  • Hot desk facility with wireless broadband
  • Meeting / conference rooms

Within the Northern Region Office there is a meeting table which can seat up to 6 people. Visitors can book use of a laptop & data projector, flipchart etc. This meeting area is available free of charge and visitors are asked to book in advance.

Also within the Belasis Business Centre there are a number of conference rooms (click through to below webpage) of varying sizes which can be booked on behalf of EIC members. www.dbh-office.com

These can be booked by the hour, half day or full day – rates available on request.

On site catering for meetings is provided by AV’s @ Café Trios, which can be arranged via the Regional Office – menus available on request. The café’s facilities and seating area are also open to any visitors to hold informal meetings over a coffee.
