Programme Overview

EIC Training is a valuable source of learning, providing a high quality programme, ensuring a first class training experience.

EIC Training consists of:

The one day Technical Workshops take the form of presentations, site tours and demonstrations and enable attendees to gain hands on experience in various disciplines. They are held at the premises of host manufacturing companies who are key players in the industry and bring together UK supply chain companies and contractors. The workshops are intended to provide a broad based familiarisation with the products: components, features, engineering, operation, maintenance, performance and testing concepts. The factory tour is for the attendees’ appreciation and understanding of the manufacturing process, assembly and testing involved in the delivery of the finished product. The technical workshops are suitable for those who would like to increase their product awareness, giving an appreciation of the equipment they may be procuring/engineering but may not have seen.

Industry Overviews are one day courses which provide an overview of a particular sector to those in a non-technical role. Topics include Power, Subsea, Oil and Gas, Renewables, Nuclear, LNG and Petrochemicals.

The Business & Management Courses provide management development training for new and experienced managers, as well courses on a range of legal topics and cultural awareness. Experienced industry instructors use role-play, case studies, scenarios, group discussion and assignments.

Health, Safety and Environment Training are one day events which provide guidance and direction on a range of topics including Hazardous Area Equipment & the ATEX Directive and the Pressure Equipment Directive & UK Pressure Systems Safety Regulations. This training will benefit those with a responsibility for compliance with UK and European legislation.

Availability

Priority booking is given to EIC members. Places are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. Non members will be placed on a waitlist and informed of availability a week before the workshop.
